By sharing an understanding of the unique characteristics and circumstances of the regional and socially constructed "borders", we hope to contribute to a global consciousness that opens the door between polarized neighbors.

Currently the collective is presenting the second annual Borderland Film Festival. This year it is called Borderland Film / Arts Festivval 2004: A Multidisciplinary Project.

The film festival runs from Dec.2-5 and the arts from Nov.29-Dec.31.
